Pred nama je jedan od najbitnijih događaja u godini u svetu video igara. The Game Awards predstavlja ceremoniju koja ističe igre, razvojne studije i individualce i njihov doprinos gejming industriji tokom zadnjih godinu dana. Ove godine 63 igre su nominovane. Najviše nominacija je pokupio Uncharted 4, ukupno njih 8, uključujući i onu za igru godine. Kada je reč o izdavačima, Sony ima 13 nominacija.

The Game Awards 2016 će se odžati u noći između 1. i 2. decembra oko 3 sata ujutro po Centralno – Evropskom vremenu.

Pored ceremonije nagrađivanja, biće i dosta novih najava i trejlera. Džef Kili kao domaćin i organizator je izjavio da će ove godine veći akcenat biti na gameplay aspektima novih video igara. Posle fijaska sa No Man’s Sky, Kili smatra da ne treba koristiti previše CG trejlera koji postavljaju više pitanja nego što na njih odgovaraju. Očekuje se velika objava iz Gearbox Software. Da li je to Redni Pičford konačno odlučio da skine veo misterije oko Borderlands 3 ili je možda u pitanju nova IP? Videćemo uskoro….
